Chair Yoga
Tuesday & Thursday 10:45am-11:45am
Chair Yoga offers the benefits of other yoga classes, but is more accessible by use of a chair as a prop for support and balance. This is a gentle practice in which most postures are performed while seated, with a few optional standing postures. This class will incorporate an exploration of alignment, strength, balance, flexibility, breath, and relaxation. Very gentle and all are welcome to this class. No yoga experience needed.
Gentle Yoga
Tuesday 9:30am-10:30am
Gentle Yoga is geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. In this all-levels, non-heated, hatha style class we will bring our awareness to our breath as we work through postures. Once we move into a posture we will hold it for 5-7 breaths. This class is low intensity. No prior yoga experience necessary.
Morning Flow
Thursday 9:30am-10:30am
In this all-levels, non-heated, vinyasa style class you will mindfully move through sequences of postures while pairing breath to movement. This class allows you to arrive, enjoy a moment of stillness, warm up and energize the body. Modifications will be offered with the use of props or challenges will be added to aid in the depth or growth of your own personal practice. Moderate intensity, good body awareness is recommended, and prior yoga experience helpful but not required.
